We have just been through a season of change. We sold our house of 23 years. We moved away from family. We changed churches. I started a new job...all at God’s leading. He orchestrated every step and every decision. We have had huge, life changing decisions made. But, through it all, there has been a peace and joy. I firmly believe, it was because of my intercessors, my faithful praying sisters in Christ. Through the years, I have gone through various situations that I know were much bigger than me or what I could ever handle on my own. But God... He has placed so many of His wonderful daughters in my life to walk along side me. They lift me up, cheer me on, pray with me, cry with me, laugh with me. These are my fabulous Sisters in Ministry, fellow pastors’ wives. Life wouldn’t be the same without them. I am so thankful for their friendship and support. The relationships that I have with them are beautiful and priceless. I know, without a shadow of doubt, that we are always available for each other. Ministry can be a lonely place or a place filled with love and laughter. It’s up to you! Reach out and make connections with others in your same ministry boat. You can benefit greatly from those God has placed in your midst. I am so glad that I stepped out so many years ago and went to the July retreat and made life-long friends. God built us for relationships. First and foremost with Him! But our earthly relationships are vital too. Don’t neglect either of them. God has a plan and purpose for each of us. We can be there for each other, encouraging each other along the way with prayer, friendship, support...doing life and ministry together!!! Love in Christ,
